Shawna and Joe are true gems!! It was such a joy to get to know them during the planning process. They were so calm and laid back. I’m sure a lot of that calmness is due to Shawna’s career as an elementary school teacher.
The day of their wedding, they were surrounded with amazing wedding party members that made them laugh and were full of joy in every moment. As Shawna was walking down the aisle, she began to cry and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. It was an incredible moment to witness the joy on Joe’s face when he saw her.
After the reception, guests enjoyed wonderful food, gazing at the art on the walls and packed the dance floor. I always tell my brides that as long as you are on the dance floor, everyone else will join you. Shawna did a fabulous job keeping everyone up on their feet!
Mark Parsons Photography captured some of the sweetest moments at the Lyndon House Arts Center in Athens. As a wedding designer, chairs always catch my eye. Goodwin Events provided the most beautiful white chairs for Shawna and Joe. I love their photos and was so thrilled to be a part of their wedding day!

Nina and Addison are such a beautiful, kind and fun couple. When I met with Nina and her mom over coffee to discuss her wedding for the first time, I immediately knew the planning process was going to be a blast. She had the most unique ideas that I could wait to see come together on their wedding day.
Nina collected items for months before their wedding day, customizing the centerpieces on every single table. Guests complimented the original decor all night. The Brickyard is such a great venue, because you can completely make the space however you want. Nina and Addison chose draping at their front of the ceremony space, flower petals to line the aisle and a vintage items to give personality and character to the room.
Their intimate ceremony at The Brickyard in Marietta was the sweetest, with family gathered closely around the couple as they said their vows. As for their reception, I haven’t yet seen people hit the dancefloor so quickly and I would call that a success!!! With glow sticks in hand, the bride and groom and their loved ones danced the night away. These photos by Jolie Loren Photography are truly stunning and PS. THE cutest first look EVER!!

Colleen and John are the best! I met Colleen as a freshman in college at Georgia College and State University. She has a contagious smile and a welcoming energy. I was also friends with John and couldn’t have been more excited to hear that they were engaged.
They are such a loving couple and their wedding day was SO fun for all of their guests. It just doesn’t get more breathtaking than a winter ceremony at Cathedral of Christ the King. If you have never seen the bridal suite at this Church, it is one to remember. It is impeccably decorated with stylish furniture and a neutral tones. As a designer, I fell in love!! The service was beautiful in every way.
To top it all off, Carla Duncan of On Occassions of Atlanta styled a GORGEOUS reception at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Colleen and John rented 10 feet chandeliers that were installed. Next to the white draping, it was just amazing to see. The night was full of love, laughter and a ton of dancing! What a dream. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day.
