I am very excited to share this post! Recently, a large group of wedding industry professionals and I came together to create a styled photo shoot. These are always really fun because you can have details, like the model’s water color dress, that typically wouldn’t be part of a traditional Southern wedding. For any creative, a styled shoot is a great way to showcase your work and build your portfolio. The day is less structured and does not have the same time constraints that a wedding has. I have learned that it is a way to see how well you work with others in the your industry and learn from them. These are a few reasons that I love participating in these.
Little River Farms is the perfect Southern venue with beautiful outdoor spaces and indoor areas that are just as pretty. The clean, white colors inside allow for a lot of creative freedom while keeping it very classic. A full list of vendors below photos!

As you can already see, Brittany and Garrett have the most precious pup ever!! I loved every minute of planning with this sweet couple and Summerour Studio was so perfect! I attended college with the Groom and had a wonderful time getting to know Brittany throughout the process -she has amazing style and taste. After a tour of the venue, the bride and groom knew right away that it was their reception space. We spent about one year planning and it was the perfect amount of time to keep it fun and organized.
Their May wedding could not have been more perfect. After a fun morning of getting ready, hair and makeup by Jennifer C. Nieman, the festivities began with a stunning ceremony at The Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta. Afterwards, guests were greeted at Summerour with signature cocktails and appetizers as they mingled on the outdoor terrace. Beautiful signature cocktail signs were hand written by Kate Turner. Live musicians from Emerald Empire Band played on the balcony upstairs and their music drifted through the open windows – so romantic! Julie Coffin from Unique Floral Expressions created stunning arrangements and the floral chandelier was absolutely a statement piece over the cake.
One of my favorite aspects of design was the decision to flank the dance floor with two lounge areas. This was such a popular spot! Guests were able to sit and relax, while feeling like they were close to the dancing. Crush Event Designs provided these gorgeous pieces to soften the space up a bit. All of these beautiful photos were captured by Expressions by Brandy. I absolutely loved working with her! Thank you to the amazing team that helped to create such an memorable day for one of my favorite couples. Full vendor list below photos.

Christine and Corey’s wedding at Peachtree Christian Church with their reception following at The Biltmore Ballrooms in Atlanta was amazing!! Guests were delighted with gorgeous paper goods, a wonderful dinner by Bold American and danced the night away to band, Sonic Groove. The couple had a dream team with Jennifer C. Nieman doing hair and makeup and florals by Sarah Bush Designs. I can’t get enough of their stunning photos by Alea Moore!! I so enjoyed being there to coordinate and see everything come together!! Being inside the Georgian Ballroom is just a dream itself – the ceilings are incredible and one of a kind. When you add the sweetest couple, their adoring family and friends and perfectly put together designs…it made for a night I know their guests will remember. Here is more from their lovely first day as husband and wife.
